The FM Team comprises experts in the field of font tools development, type design and marketing. The programmers are: Gu Jun, who is very experienced in C++ and MFC and is since 1996 working on Ikarus for Windows; Hartmut Schwarz, one of the developers of Ikarus M; Axel Stoltenberg, Ikarus programmer since 1984; and Dr. Jürgen Willrodt, who has been associated with URW and URW++ Design & Development as a programmer and partner since the 1970’s.

Peter Rosenfeld is as Managing Director of URW++ Design & Development responsible for the coordination in Hamburg, where the programmers work. Frank E. Blokland, type designer and owner of the Dutch Type Library, took the initiative to develop DTL FontMaster and is the project manager and designer.
